Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Peru

I traveled with Jeanette to South America in order to see Machu Picchu as one of the world's 7 wonders! The trip entailed connecting flights, arranging for transportation, and booking the hostel we stayed in, all of which she took care of...

There were other things to consider that she had researched, that I wasn't educated on, such as the significant difference in altitude change which required us to hang out in town (Cusco) for a few days before the hike, to acclimate our bodies. That's when she found fun things for us to do, like white water rafting, exploring ancient ruins and riding horses through a eucalyptus forest!

At one point during our week-long trip, I became ill and she arranged for a physician to come to our room so I could be examined and treated. 

Having Jeanette as a travel companion relieved a lot of my travel anxiety, especially in a country that spoke Spanish.  I felt safe and trusted her with many of the crucial things this trip needed to entail!

While Jeanette stayed true to her itinerary during the trip, she easily adjusted plans when there were events we stumbled upon that we wanted to fit into my experience in Peru. The trip provided much laughter and memories to last a lifetime!

Ireland - First Time Abroad - Touring Prisons

“I had always longed to visit Ireland, but as an introvert who isn’t very outgoing, I never thought I’d go on my own—let alone start planning a trip.”

…With the help of Travel LISTTIN, LLC, I was able to spend 10 amazing days in Ireland, exploring different places every day.

It was incredible to finally see all the beautiful sights I’d only ever seen on TV or in movies. Jeanette was fantastic—handling the planning, socializing, and making sure everyone had a great time. What made it even better was that, since it was my trip, I didn’t have to compromise on where to go or what to do. Everything was tailored to what I wanted.

That’s part of what made this experience so special—it was my trip, but with a friend. I wanted to see old prisons and castles, which might not be for everyone, but Jeanette was incredibly supportive and made it all happen.

 This trip gave me the confidence to return to Ireland a second time—this time for my honeymoon. Having been there before made me feel so much more comfortable traveling. I would book again in a heartbeat!

WWII Memorial Tour

 “The nice thing is she will research and get you to the sites you want to see. But is also capable to wing it and change plans to make sure you see and do the things you decide to do. It’s your schedule not hers.”

I had the pleasure of doing a trip to Europe with Jeanette. She handled the train and bus connections with ease. I had always yearned for a trip to Aushwitz , Dachau and the American cemetery at Normandy.

Because I had Jeanette taking charge of the travel connections I could just follow her like she was my own personal guide (which she was). While in Poland I added a trip to the Warsaw Ghetto . Jeanette accepted my change in plans and made it happen.

Aushwitz, Dachau  and the American Cemetery at Normandy were 3 items that were on my bucket list and thanks to her I was able to take them all in. My father had arrived at Dachau the day after it was liberated while in the army. Jeanette allowed me to spend extra time touring this site and I did not have to concern myself with transportation connections she handled them flawlessly.

      One night while in England informed her I wanted to try fish and chips. Jeanette said ok and we went out into the town and got directions from the locals to a place that served them. We had  a great time.

     We spent several days in Paris and because  Jeanette had been there previously she had a good idea of what there was to see. 

   I wanted to take in as many  Cathedrals as I could and we toured several of them….

St. Thomas - US Virgin Islands

“I fell in love with snorkeling as a guest on a business excursion. I knew I wanted my children to experience a Caribbean vacation, but the idea of traveling with 3 teenage girls seemed too costly and overwhelming. “

…Jeanette was able to curate a trip to St. Thomas that fit my budget and schedule.

We saw sea turtles and so many colorful reef fish and made memories that will last a lifetime!

We didn’t stay at high end resorts, but our interactions with the locals were memorable and added to the charm of the island.

Her recommendations for local vendors for Jamaican beef patty did not disappoint, and even the weather cooperated with our schedule.

With Jeanette as a guide, I didn’t have to worry about any of the details. After the first day, I was able to just relax and truly feel like I was on vacation.

It was a great experience and all I suggest is - just let Jeanette know what you are hoping to do - and see if she can find a way to make it happen.
