Where did the idea for Travel LISTTIN come from?

Many people have items on their bucket lists - possibly because it can be intimidating to try and figure out a trip or activity on your own. In the latter years of life, we may realize that if these adventures are going to happen - Now Is The Time!

LISTTIN offers travel or adventure with trustworthy companionship. In my life, I have helped a lot of folks on their first trip - or joined them in a venture when they needed support - and I have seen first hand the impact that company makes. Having someone to journey with makes such a difference. LISTTIN companionship means you do not have to do it alone.

What qualifications do LISTTIN Companions have?

*Current First Aid / AED / CPR certification for infants, children, and adults;

*college degree; *experience traveling; *pass a background check;

*sober; *over 23 years of age; *healthy and cleared for travel;

*US passport (able to obtain visas , if required);

*valid NY state driver’s license and insurance;

*extensive availability; & *enthusiastic and personable.

What are some “Out of the Box” scenarios where LISTTIN can provide companionship?

*medical procedures and surgeries; * reunions; *weddings; *funerals;

*accompanying minors (for travel or as a chaperone); *art classes;

*visiting a museum, exhibit, event, restaurant or show; *dance lessons; *

Having an item to check off your bucket list does not necessarily mean it will be a long trip. Any excursion that is tugging on your heart is a reason to live the truth of our slogan. “Life Is Short; The Time Is Now!”

Can LISTTIN help without the companionship?-Yes!

We would love to be able to travel with you and see you check items off your bucket list, but if companionship is not what you need, we can assist you with the planning and advising piece only.

Is there anything you WON’T do? - Yes!

We have no judgement against anyone’s dream vacation or excursion. However, LISTTIN companions will not compromise their own morals and partake in any activity that risks jail time or threatens their ethics or health.

This means we may NOT be getting a tattoo with you, but we can certainly hold your hand while you get it done!

The companionship LISTTIN offers is intentionally purely platonic - without any romantic or sexual elements present.

How is Travel Planning different than a travel agency?

LISTTIN companions are NOT travel agents. Nor are LISTTIN companions receiving any compensation from organizations soliciting traveler recommendations or hoping to steer travelers to their particular services.

Being unaffiliated is intentional. As such, we are not limited as to the airlines, hotels, or resorts we can book with. This ensures that we design your travel or event to the specifications best suited for your preferences - considering your interests, budget, lifestyle, and personality - without pressuring you or forcing any additional agenda. Plus - we can be your companion along the way - so you don’t have to do it alone!
